CACHE: If you are using a card reader on a Windows 2000 or XP computer, always flush the cache before removing your card. This can be done by right clicking on the green arrow in the system tray at the bottom right hand corner of your screen and ejecting your drive letter.

1. Purchase

Q: Do I have to back up my downloaded software? Can I get another copy from you later?
A: No, you don't have to back up the downloaded software. You can always download it from our Web site. It's advisable to back up the registration key file, but only for the sake of saving your own time in case you lose it, as you'd have to request a new one from us. We'll send you a replacement should you need it.

Q: Do you offer special pricing for academic institutions, students, non-profit organizations, or government users?
A: Academic institutions and students - yes; please follow this link. Non-profit organizations - generally no, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis and we may offer you academic pricing depending on what kind of non-profit organization you are (e.g. if you are a children's charity organization, we'll most probably do that). Government users - no, we don't offer special pricing. However, you may qualify for volume discounts. All of the above applies to customers from any country.

Q: How can I download the full version of the product?
A: There are no separate files for the evaluation and full versions. The evaluation version becomes the full version if you have the registration key. The registration message that you have received from us provides detailed instructions on using the registration key. That said, our software is always available for downloading in the Download Area.

Q: What if I don't have a credit card?. Can I register FlashUndelete.com software?
A: If you don't have a credit card or would rather pay by other means, we can accept a check or money order for your purchase. Just print and send the order form with payment for processing. Click here for the order form.

Q: I have an older version, how do I upgrade?
A: All upgrades within a major release are free. You can simply download the latest version here and unlock it with your "old" license key. Example: You purchased Undelete SD card Version 1.0. Then all the upgrades within the major Version 1 (i. e. Version number range 1.1, 1.2, .... , 1.99) are free.

Q: I've placed the order. What next?
A: If you paid by credit card or placed a PO, your order will be processed by our partner. We outsource credit card and PO processing. RegNow is owned by Digital River, a worldwide leader in ecommerce outsourcing. If your order is successful, you will receive a registration message from us. This will convert your evaluation version into the full version. You will find the detailed instructions in the registration message.

If you paid by check or wire transfer, you will receive the registration key as soon as we receive your check clearance or the funds are credited to our bank account.

Q: If I purchase an activation (registration) code how long will it take to be sent to me?
A: When you purchase on-line using Regnow your registration key is immediately sent to you by email.

If there is a delay in your credit card provider authorizing the transaction, your registration key is emailed to you as soon as the authorization takes place (usually within 20 minutes thereof).

Q: How can I know my order is secure?
A: Our order forms are designed to warn you if you are using an insecure connection. The top of the order page will tell you if the form you are using is secure or not.

- You will see a yellow lock in the lower right hand corner of the browser.
- If you right click on the page and select properties, the dialogue box will display 'HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy' under protocol.
- The page URL will begin with https:// and not http://

For Netscape Navigator:
- You will see a closed blue lock with a yellow highlight in the lower left hand corner of the browser.
- If you double click on the lock your browser will tell you more information about the server certificate and security.
- The page URL will begin with https:// and not http://

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: At FlashUndelete.com, we want you to be happy with your purchase. That is why we encourage you to try out our products and technical support free before you make a decision regarding the purchase. By making the most of these free evaluations, you can fully test the software and make sure that it does everything you need. If you have questions while you evaluate the software, please don't hesitate to contact our support staff. Because of this free evaluation practice, we do not refund or exchange software purchases. Once we have created a key file for you and emailed it to the address specified in your order, the software is considered delivered and opened, therefore making it non-returnable. If you have any questions prior to your purchase, please contact us.

2. Newsletters & Update Notification

Q: Can you inform me when you update the software?
A: Yes, please subscribe to our free newsletter. In addition, you can easily update your software: once we release a new update simply download it, install it and unlock it with your license key. This way you will always have the newest version installed. All updates within a major release are free, e. g if you purchased Version 1.0, the versions 1.1, 1.2 to 1.99 are FREE updates and you can use your "old" license key to unlock your download.

Q: How can I prevent data loss from happening in the future?
A: The most simple and cost-effective way is to use data backup software to preserve your files.

Q: How is FlashUndelete.com software different from other data recovery programs?
